Terry's Frog

In the days following Lauren's death, we were inundated with frogs. It seemed that everyone in the family and lots of friends were calling to tell us of their own frog confirmations.

I remember Terry seeming a little disappointed to not have received his own sign, or even a frog. It was perfect timing when his good friend Eric called.

Terry was tinkering in his tool shop when Eric called. He began to tell Eric some of the frog stories that we had been hearing. On that note, Eric shared a story with Terry.

When Eric got home from Lauren's funeral and told his wife about all of the frog stories, and how we received the vision from Mary Ann, she explained to him what the word frog meant. F.R.O.G. is a Christian acronym. It stands for "Fully Rely On God".

That was it! Terry's frog had arrived. And not a moment too soon.

He needed to hear those exact words at that time. To Fully Rely On God. His faith was being rocked too. For Lauren to get the message to him that he needed through her sign of the frog was just incredible.

Suddenly the frog meant so much more to us than just a sign that Lauren was okay. It was also her way of telling us to keep our faith, and rely on God.

We took her message of the frog and designed shirts in memory of Lauren. Whenever people comment on our shirts, we get to spread Lauren's message that she shared with us. Notice the frog's toes below.....
